The Transcontinental Hotel was est. in 1888 and has catered for every Brisbane generation. Centrally located on George Street across from Roma Street station the hotel is suited for every occasion.  This is Brisbane’s perfect setting for corporate events, private parties, weddings as well as pre & post game entertainment for all Suncorp Stadium sporting events. Trading for over 130 years, The Transcontinental Hotel is one of Queensland’s longest-standing pubs. In January 2014, The Transcontinental Hotel underwent a contemporary redesign to emphasise its heritage and elegance as well as restoring warmth and atmosphere. Boasting multiple entertainment areas including the Public Bar, Craft Bar, Dining Hall, Beer Garden and Platform Bar.  ‘The Trans’ offers great food crafted by executive chef Shane Lurie creating the perfect combination for after work and pre-game drinks, corporate events, weddings, private parties or just good times with friends.
